 JAKE MATHEWS  October 13th and 14th

Jake is a singer-songwriter originally from the northern mining town of Sudbury Ontario, but he has made his home in Calgary for the past 20 years.  Jake’s blend of traditional and contemporary country music has garnered national critical acclaim.  He has enjoyed great success on the radio with numerous top 20 hits such as “Time After Time”, “Beer Necessities”, and “A Woman and a Song”.

THE BEST LETTLE NEWFOUNDLAND CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER!  November 17th and 18th

Whizgiggling Productions brings you a 2 act, musical comedy that is fast becoming an Edmonton Christmas tradition.  The show is full of Christmas music and east coast humour.  It will take you from laughter to tears and back again.  This is a beautiful story with a lot of heart, teaching us all the true meaning of Christmas. 

 QUARTETTO GELATO  January 12th and 13th

Virtuosic showpieces, romantic tenor arias, pyrotechnical solos, blazing gypsy show pieces, multi-instrument mastery and a World Accordion Champion – this is Quartetto Gelato.  For 25 years, this dazzling ensemble has enchanted audiences and critics worldwide with their exotic blend of musical virtuosity, artistic passion and humor. Quartetto Gelato also offers the bonus of a brilliant operatic tenor. With a repertoire that spans the globe including classical masterworks, the sizzling energy of tangos, gypsy and folk songs, the group’s stage presence and relaxed humor establishes an intimate rapport with audiences worldwide.

 CHRISTOPHER HALL  February 9th and 10th

Christopher performs as a stand up comedian and does various television and radio shows.  In the past three years, he has performed his acclaimed concert ‘Comic Orchestra’ throughout Canada alongside some of the best orchestras in the country. He also performed it at the Montreal Just for Laughs festival in front of a crowd of 3000, to rave reviews.  With a string quartet, Christopher shows that classical music is accessible to everyone.  You will enjoy an evening of music and laughter.

 MARTIN KERR  March 16 and 17th

Inspired by the poetry of Keats and Radiohead, and by his travels to 35 countries, Martin Kerr is a singer-songwriter who transcends time and place.  His achingly sincere vocal delivery embodies the feelings of millions.  Often compared to the best of the 1970 troubadours - Cat Stevens, James Taylor, John Denver - Martin's modern-folk connects with listeners of all ages.
