TERRY BARBER

 (November 1 & 2)

Spend a memorable evening listening to “The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber” with hits from ten of his most beloved shows as interpreted by internationally acclaimed countertenor, Terry Barber. Terry has been featured on the
world’s most famous stages from Carnegie Hall to Moscow’s Svetlanov Hall. A true entertainer, Terry’s extreme vocal range and delicate nuance are enhanced by his witty rapport with the audience. Terry’s voice is heard on every major record label, with artists from Madonna to the London Philharmonic.


ACROSS THE POND with LEISA WAY

(November 29 & 30)

Music was a passion for this little girl with the big voice, and by age 16 Leisa had already sang solo concerts for Queen Elizabeth, Terry Fox,Teddy Kennedy, Wayne Gretsky, and been asked to sing the national anthem at the Special Olympics, the Labatt Curling Briar and for a Canada-Russia hockey game! Across the Pond celebrates over 50 years of British pop and rock music. You'll hear hits of The Beatles, Dave Clark Five, Herman Hermits, Elton John, Petula Clark, Tom Jones, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Shirley Bassey, Gerry & the Pacemakers, The Animals, Dusty Springfield, Rod Stewart, Adele, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Sting, Annie Lennox, Led Zeppelin, Joe Cocker, Lulu, The Hollies - and more!


STRICTLY BUSINESS

(January 10 &11)

 This cabaret features musical theatre and story telling in a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere. For audiences who may not usually enjoy
theatre, Kayla and Kelsey charm with their wit, musicality and a whole lot of humour. Their cabarets are a great way to experience new hits and old Broadway favourites while getting to know a couple of kooky singers. With the Strictly Business catchphrase, “come laugh with us or at us,” the ladies promise that no matter what, you’ll have a good time.


TIM ISBERG

(FEBRUARY 7 & 8)

Veteran soldier Tim Isberg, who was stationed in Wainwright for a time, is an accomplished singer-songwriter reemerging on the scene after a lengthy hiatus from music while serving in the Canadian Army. From Rwanda to
Afghanistan, Tim experienced many real-life challenges working in different cultures and conflicts, and amid the best and worst humanity has to offer.  As a performer, he has entertained audiences in many corners of the world. Tim is a story-teller who brings well crafted songs to the stage and a unique and endearing array of life experiences he shares in a way that makes each listener feel connected.


ACCIDENTAL HUMOUR CO.

Dinner & Show

Accidental Humour Co.’s newest production, The Flying Detective, is a fantastical and fast-paced theatrical adaptation of the first aerial police pursuit in Canadian history. Filled with incredible video projections, a hilarious cast of characters, and magical stage choreography, this is a true Canadian adventure brought to life. On August 30th, 1919, in Edmonton, a young police officer is shot and killed in the line of duty. The murderer escapes by rail to the remote village of Edson. With a two-day head
start, the Edmonton Police have no chance of catching him… until they recruit one of the most famous pilots in Canadian aviation history: Wilfrid “Wop” May.
